The Company

Our San Diego stores are owned and operated by Solar Powered Products, Inc., and originally opened the first store in Historic Old Town in December 2000- February 2011. A second store was opened in Seaport Village on July 4th, 2003 where you can continue to find us. We serve the needs of visitors vacationing in the San Diego area. Anthony B. Trinca & Laurie M. Trinca are the owners and have many years of experience in the industry.

Del Sol is a pioneer in designing, manufacturing, and marketing T-shirts, sweatshirts and many other products that incorporate proprietary inks and related technical processes that have certain “color change” characteristics when exposed to ultraviolet light. Numerous trademarks have been registered including “Just Add Sun,” 100% WOW,” and “Sun-Powered.” Although T-shirts have been the bloodline of the Del Sol business, many other products continue to be developed such as golf shirts, sweatshirts, hats, tote bags, jewelry, nail polish, hair accessories, frisbees and assorted small gift items.

Del Sol’s products are known around the world for their unique color changing process. The original Del Sol products have been in existence since 1994. Since then, technicians have worked continually to improve and upgrade the products, adding new items on a regular basis. Because of this, you can find something new in our Seaport Village location every time you visit Sunny San Diego.
